How to use Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) LookupOrderedRows AMPScript to search data in a data extension that returns multiple rows

Today, we will talk about Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and AMPScript (LookupOrderedRows AMPScript to be specific). Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) is a customer relationship management (CRM) platform for marketers that allows marketers to create 1-to-1 journeys across the entire Salesforce Customer Success Platform -- journeys that span not only digital marketing, but sales and service as well. This simplifies data management, segmentation and campaign management, making it easy to create compelling digital marketing campaigns, boost customer engagement and ultimately drive more leads into Salesforce.

In this tutorial, we will go over the LookupOrderedRows AMPScript that can be used to search data in a data extension that returns multiple rows.

How to redirect users based on referrer URL using JavaScript

In this tutorial, you will learn how you can redirect users on your website based on referrer URL using JavaScript. According to W3Schools, "document.referrer" returns a string, representing the URL of the document that loaded the current document. Returns the entire URL, including the protocol (like http://). If the current document was not opened through a link (for example, through a bookmark), an empty string is returned.

This solution can check if the user (site traffic) is coming from a specific webpage or a website URL and based on that it will redirect the users accordingly.

Let's dive in!

Hi Aman,

Whenever you make any changes in the source code, you should re-build the solution and update the code files on server (if necessary) and the bin folder.

Hi Aman,

If you are familiar with SQL, you can create custom queries and import products directly into the database.

In your solution, open RouteProvider.cs - You will find this file in this location: Nop.Web/Infrastructure/RouteProvider.cs

You will see different mapped routes like home page, login, register etc.

Hi Rajnish,

What error are you getting?

May I ask what is the purpose of adding "?" and "&" in the URL?

Hi Aman,

If are running multiple stores (in nopCommerce based off multi store feature) that means you are working with different domain names (or sub-domains).

You just have to perform 2 separate imports:
- Import products for store 1 when you are logged into store 1 domain (or sub-domain)
- Import products for store 2 when you are logged into store 2 domain (or sub-domain)

Hi Johny,

As of now, the product registration plugin only support ONE location and that CANNOT be changed from the configuration options of the product registration plugin. But, there is a trick / workaround if you would like to move the “Product Registration” menu item to somewhere else.

Since you’ve mentioned that you would like to move it to the bottom (instead of top).

1)      Go to this location in your nopCommerce files: Nop.Web (or Presentation) / Views / Customer / CustomerNavigation.cshtml

2)      Option the view “CustomerNavigation.cshtml”

3)      You will find this code:

@Html.Widget("account_navigation_before")
            @foreach (var item in Model.CustomerNavigationItems)
            {
                <li class="@item.ItemClass">
                    <a href="@Url.RouteUrl(item.RouteName)" class="@(Model.SelectedTab == item.Tab ? "active" : "inactive")">@(item.Title)</a>
                </li>
            }
            @Html.Widget("account_navigation_after")

4)      Move the @Html.Widget("account_navigation_before") to the bottom like this:

@foreach (var item in Model.CustomerNavigationItems)
            {
                <li class="@item.ItemClass">
                    <a href="@Url.RouteUrl(item.RouteName)" class="@(Model.SelectedTab == item.Tab ? "active" : "inactive")">@(item.Title)</a>
                </li>
            }
            @Html.Widget("account_navigation_after")
    @Html.Widget("account_navigation_before")

5)  Save changes and refresh the “My account” section, you should be able to see the “Product Registration” menu item at the bottom (if you do not see the change, please clear cache, reload plugins and restart your application from the administration section

Note: The product registration menu item is using this zone for displaying the link
@Html.Widget("account_navigation_before")
- So, anytime if you would like to move the menu item to anywhere, simply move the widget zone.

One more thing you can try (IF you have already confirmed that your hosting server does offer FULL trust level) - Open your import file and re-save it as .xlsx (please make sure it is NOT .xls).

Try importing now and see it is fixes your problem?
